Ginger Snaps

1 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup shortening
2/3 cup molasses (light flavor)
4 cups flour

Sift with flour:
4 tsp. soda ½
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. Ginger

Mix and set in refrigerator overnight. Roll in sugar (Do not flatten). Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
